How to deal with this domain process on the system

This video provides a step-by-step practical demonstration of all domain management operations explained below.
You will see how to transfer domains, create and point name servers, update contact information, renew domains, change billing cycles, move domain ownership, send ownership certificates, and cancel domains in a real client account scenario.

Note: Watching the video first is recommended to fully understand the steps before performing them in WHMCS or client accounts.

🔹 Transfer Domain To Us

Terms to know before transferring a domain to us:

  1. The domain must be registered for more than 60 days.

  2. The domain must have at least 15 days before its expiration date.

  3. Unlock the domain.

How to make a domain transfer order:

  • From Add New Order in the client account:

    1. Choose the Domain Transfer button.

    2. The client should provide you with the EPP Code / Authorization Code.

    3. Press Submit Order.

 

🔹 Transfer Domain From Us

Terms to know before transferring a domain from us:

  1. The domain must be registered for more than 60 days.

  2. The domain must have at least 15 days before its expiration date.

  3. Unlock the domain.

  4. Send the EPP Code to the client.

🔹 Creating Private Name Servers

  1. From the client account, press Login as Client.

  2. You will be redirected to the Client Area.

  3. Press the Domains tab.

  4. Select the domain you need to create a name server for.

  5. Choose Private Name Servers.

  6. Enter the details:

    • Box No.1: Enter the registered name server (e.g., ns1…).

    • IP Address: Enter the IP provided by the client.

    • Press Save Changes.

  7. Repeat for NS2.

🔹 Pointing Name Servers

  • Follow the same steps as creating name servers, but select Name Servers instead of Private Name Servers.

  • Enter NS1 & NS2 in the boxes for Name Server 1 & Name Server 2.

🔹 Changing Contact Information On Service

  1. Enter the Domain Page from the client account.

  2. Press Modify Contact Details.

  3. You can then update the domain contact information on the new page.

 

🔹 Renew Domains

  • Press the Renew button in the action modules to renew the domain.

 

🔹 Change Domain Billing Cycle

  1. Enter the domain page.

  2. Edit the following sections:

    • Registration Period: Update based on the client’s renewal period.

    • Recurring Amount: Enter the domain price according to the registration period.

🔹 Moving Domain Ownership

  1. Receive the request from the client via the ticket system.

  2. Confirm the request via phone call on the registered number.

  3. Enter the Service Page.

  4. Press Move Product / Service (will redirect to a new page).

  5. Fill the required fields:

    • New Client ID: The client the service will be transferred to.

    • Email: The new client’s email.

  6. Press the Transfer button to complete the process.

 

🔹 Sending Ownership Certificate

  1. Enter the Domain Page.

  2. Scroll to the bottom and choose Send Ownership Certificate.

  3. Press Send Message.

🔹 Cancelling Domain

  • Confirm with the client that all data will be erased.

  • Change the status to Cancelled.

  • Press Save Changes at the bottom of the page.

 

 

🌍 Conditions for Registering and Renewing an Egyptian Domain (.eg)

To register a domain ending with the .eg extension, certain official documents must be provided according to the requirements of the Supreme Council of Universities.
The registration process is carried out through Nile Networks, the authorized registrar.

📋 Required Documents

1️⃣ An official authorization letter to Nile Networks to register the domain through the Supreme Council of Universities.
2️⃣ The company’s commercial registration certificate.
3️⃣ The company’s tax card.
4️⃣ A copy of the national ID card of the person whose name appears on the commercial registration certificate.

⚠️ Important Note:
All information provided in the documents must exactly match the name of the domain to be registered.

Domain Management Steps in the System (WHMCS)

This update is performed only after the Accounts Department verifies that the renewal has been successfully completed.

Usually, .eg domains are renewed automatically, but it is essential to confirm the expiry date with the Accounts Department to ensure data accuracy within the system.

🔔 Additional Notes About the Egyptian Domain (.eg)

  • The domain is permanently linked to the registered individual.

  • If the client forgets to renew the domain for one year or more, they must pay the fees for all missed years in addition to the current renewal year when requesting renewal later.
