🎬 Practical Video Guide – Service Management
This video provides a step-by-step practical demonstration of all service management operations explained below.
You will see how to link services, reset and send passwords, change service information, issue invoices, suspend/unsuspend services, make exceptions, cancel, transfer ownership, and recreate services in a real client account scenario.
Note: Watching the video first is recommended to fully understand the steps before performing them in WHMCS or client accounts.
🔹 Linking Service
We follow these steps to add the Service Username and Password to control the service and link it with its server:
1️⃣ Arrow No.1: Enter the Username
2️⃣ Arrow No.2: Enter the Password

🔹 Reset and Send Password
1️⃣ Type new password for the control panel → press Save Changes
2️⃣ Press Change Password from the Commands bar

Send Username and Password to Client:

If Linux → press Hosting Account Welcome Email (No1)

If Windows → press Windows Hosting Account Welcome Email (No2)

Press Send Message to Client (No.3)


🔹 Changing Service Information
Changing Service Billing Cycle
1️⃣ Change Recurring Amount and Billing Cycle from the service page → press Save Changes
2️⃣ Press View Invoice to modify the invoice
📝 Steps on Invoice:

No.1 Modify the Date as in service page

No.2 Modify the Amount
-
Press Save Changes


🔹Issue Invoice for Service
1️⃣ Mark the small box beside the Service
2️⃣ Press Invoice Selected Items → system will issue new invoice

🔹Suspend or Unsuspend Service
1️⃣ Press Suspend to suspend active services
2️⃣ Press Unsuspend to unsuspend suspended services

🔹Make an Exception for a Period of Time
1️⃣ Press Unsuspend from the module bar
2️⃣ Mark Do Not Suspend Until (red box)
3️⃣ Choose the date (e.g., till the 15th of the month)
4️⃣ Press Save Changes

🔹Cancelling Service

Confirm with the client that the data will be erased

Go to the service page → press Terminate

🔹Moving Service Ownership
1️⃣ Receive request from client via ticket system
2️⃣ Confirm via phone call on the registered number
3️⃣ Enter service page
Steps:
1️⃣ Press Move Product / Service → redirected to new page
2️⃣ Type New Client ID
3️⃣ Type New Client Email
4️⃣ Press the Transfer Button

🔹Recreating Service

If the invoice is paid but the service is not created automatically → create it manually:
1️⃣ Press the Create Button → wait for service creation
2️⃣ Send control panel credentials as in the Reset step -
To terminate and recreate the service:
1️⃣ Terminate as shown in Cancelling Service
2️⃣ Create again following this section
