How to Install WHM/cPanel on Your Server

To install WHM/cPanel on your server, follow the instructions in the video below:

 

Note: Make sure your server meets the installation requirements before proceeding.


⚡ Minimum Requirements for Installing WHM/cPanel

Before starting, ensure your server meets the following minimum requirements:

  • 🖥 Operating System:

    • CentOS 7 or 8

    • CloudLinux 7 or 8

    • AlmaLinux 8

  • 💾 RAM:

    • Minimum  (2 GB recommended)

  • 📂 Storage Space:

    • At least 20 GB (more recommended for larger websites)

  • 📡 Static IP Address:

    • Required for server access and services

  • 🌐 Valid Domain Name:

    • Recommended to have registered before installation

  • 🔑 Root SSH Access:

    • Needed for installation and initial setup

Tip: Ensure your system is fully updated before starting the installation.



Create Cloud VPS

🔹 Creating a Cloud VPS

You can create a Cloud VPS on one of the following nodes:

  • pve10

  • pve16


🔹 Log in to the SSH Server

  • Log in to the SSH server using the password found on the service page.

  • If the password doesn’t work, use the default password:

    password: exa@123
  • Then reset the password and set a new one using the command line:

    passwd
  • Update the new password on the service page.


🔹 Verify Resources and Storage

  • Ensure that all resources are correct.

  • If there is any difference in storage, perform a resize.


🔹 How to Resize (Proxmox)

  1. Connect to the server via SSH:

    ssh csteam@<server_ip>
    password: IN)RKHX3IvJv#A&g
  2. Select the desired server by typing the number before it.

  3. Enter the VM ID (available on the service page).

  4. Choose the required server from the available options:

    CLOUD VPS2, CLOUD VPS3, CLOUD VPS4, CLOUD VPS5, 40, 60, 80, 100, 160
  5. The server will reboot automatically after resizing.

  6. Once rebooted, log in again to verify the new disk space.
