How to Park a Domain in cPanel

A Parked Domain (also called an Alias) allows you to point an additional domain to your main website. This is useful if you want multiple domains to display the same website.

📝 Steps to Park a Domain

  1. 🔑 Log in to cPanel

    • Access your cPanel account using your hosting credentials.

  2. 📂 Go to Aliases (Parked Domains)

    • Scroll down to the Domains section

    • Click on Aliases

    • (Sometimes labeled Parked Domains in older versions)

  3. ➕ Add the Domain to Park

    • In the Create a New Alias field, enter the domain name you want to park

    • Click Add Domain

  4. ✅ Verify the Domain

    • Make sure the parked domain’s DNS is pointing to your hosting server

    • Once DNS propagates, visiting the parked domain will display the same content as your main website

💡 Tips

  • Parked domains don’t have separate content — they mirror the main domain

  • Useful for protecting brand names or common misspellings of your main domain

  • You can remove a parked domain anytime from the Aliases section
