How to Park a Domain in cPanel
A Parked Domain (also called an Alias) allows you to point an additional domain to your main website. This is useful if you want multiple domains to display the same website.
📝 Steps to Park a Domain
-
🔑 Log in to cPanel
-
Access your cPanel account using your hosting credentials.
-
-
📂 Go to Aliases (Parked Domains)
-
Scroll down to the Domains section
-
Click on Aliases
-
(Sometimes labeled Parked Domains in older versions)
-
-
➕ Add the Domain to Park
-
In the Create a New Alias field, enter the domain name you want to park
-
Click Add Domain
-
-
✅ Verify the Domain
-
Make sure the parked domain’s DNS is pointing to your hosting server
-
Once DNS propagates, visiting the parked domain will display the same content as your main website
-
💡 Tips
-
Parked domains don’t have separate content — they mirror the main domain
-
Useful for protecting brand names or common misspellings of your main domain
-
You can remove a parked domain anytime from the Aliases section
